DocsOffers and rewards
Offer lifecycle
Every offer on the wall follows the same path and sends the same statuses. Only the time to a final result differs.
One path for every offer
Every offer on your wall works the same way for you. You handle one set of statuses, whatever the offer is.
| Step | What happens | Postback |
|---|---|---|
| Started | The user opens the offer from your wall. It shows under Reward status, In progress. | None |
| Pending | The user finished, and the result is being checked. | Status 3, only if you turned pending events on |
| Credited | The result is approved and final. | Status 1 |
| Rejected | The result was not approved, and this is final. | Status 4 |
| Reversed | A credited result was taken back later. | Status 2 |
| Expired | The user started but did not finish in time. | None |
All events of one completion carry the same transaction_id. A result can go pending, then credited or rejected, and a credited result can later be reversed. Nothing else is possible.
Example sequences
With pending events on:
tx=8f3k2a status=3 pending reward=315
tx=8f3k2a status=1 credited reward=315
tx=9a1c7d status=3 pending reward=120
tx=9a1c7d status=4 rejected reward=0 reason=Proof does not match the task
tx=4b8e2f status=1 credited reward=900
tx=4b8e2f status=2 reversed reward=900 reason=Duplicate accounts
With pending events off, you only get the final status 1 or 4, and later a status 2 if a credited result is reversed.
How long until a final result
| Offer type | Example | Usually final after |
|---|---|---|
click | Keep a page open for 30 seconds | Right after the timer finishes. |
task | Do something and send a screenshot | Up to 3 days while the proof is reviewed. A dispute can add a few more days. |
offer | Reach a level in a game, install an app | Often within minutes. Some are held for a few days, for example offers that need a purchase or a trial. |
Show pending results to your users as pending, so they know the reward is on its way.
Rejections and disputes
- When an offer with proof is rejected, the user sees the reason under Reward status and can dispute it once, within 72 hours.
- Sharklio staff has the final word on disputes.
- You do not need to do anything during a dispute. You get status 1 or 4 when it ends.
- If a user thinks any offer should have paid, send the user ID, offer name, and date to [email protected] and we look into it.
Your earnings
The payout in a status 1 postback is added to your Sharklio balance. Pending and rejected results pay nothing. A reversal takes the payout back. See Chargebacks.
